While my ancestors roamed the Tengri Too (kyrg. "Mountains of God/Heaven") on horses and lived in earth packed yurts, I roamed the ruins of Soviet Union in a newly independent country of Kyrgyzstan, and grew up in a concrete packed khruschevka.

And yes, that's me. With hair freshly cut by my dad. Between this photo and now I haven’t gotten any taller, but my character has flourished and hair luckily grew longer. Some could say my good humour and positive outlook on life were passed down from my parents, who never missed an opportunity to laugh (pictured).

As a kid, I wanted to be many things. Astronaut, princess, physicist, and even X-man or superhero: I deeply believed that eventually I'll stumble on radioactive waste and get superpowers. Alas, no university offered a degree in superheroing, so I decided to major in International & Comparative Politics. In 2015, I set off initially to Denmark, and then on to The Netherlands to get a Master's degree in Media and Politics. Eventually, I traded a career in political journalism to pursue a dream of working in film, and became a producer.

I’ve learnt production from various angles, including post house, brand, & agency. My love for administration, organisation, and bossing people around contributed to projects for Netflix, Samsung, Nike, Amazon, among many many others.

Interesting facts:
I am an unabashed space nerd and cinema fan, tireless bookworm and wannabe surfer.

Things I like: surfing, dancing, kickboxing.

Things I hate: anything with more than 4 legs, anything with less than 2 legs,  pineapple on pizza.
